Enuff Z'nuff is welcoming back (after a few year hiatus) lead vocalist Donnie Vie as they look forward to their upcoming new CD release on April 21st - Dissonance- and embarking on a US and Japan tour this year.
As the band took stage the fans were thrilled to see the return of Donnie and to hear some of their new songs while rocking with the classics. The band opened with Rock-N-World which led into Heaven and Hell. Donnie exploded with energy and was wound up from the start while interacting with the crowd constantly and doing different variations of some wild dance moves on the stage all night. It was great hearing the classics like pop-favorites Baby Loves You, There Goes My Heart, and Stoned, but hearing three of their new upcoming songs was chilling as they were that good. They first showcased Dissonance - a heavy pop song with catchy lyrics and great heavy beats from drummer Randi Scott and sizzling lead guitar from Tory Stoffregen. Lazy Dazy had a Beatle-influence groove which won the crowd over. High also had the Enuff heavy pop feel which rocked the crowd. It was also great to see bassist Chip Z'Nuff and Donnie on stage together once again doing what they do best - harmonizing and writing great rock songs.
They then backed up the night with more classic hits like New Thing, Fly High Michelle, and In The Groove. During New Thing, the band invited hungry fans on stage to jam with them!
Enuff Z'nuff is back, in the groove, and in full over-drive. A must band to see live!
