About Marc Broussard

Marc Broussard

Having first taken the stage at age five to join father Ted Broussard (Louisiana Hall of Fame guitarist and member of the New Orleans R&B group Boogie Kings) in a rendition of Johnny B. Goode, it's no surprise that at the age of 21, Marc Broussard has already recorded and released an independent CD, toured relentlessly with the likes of Willie Nelson, Maroon5, O.A.R., Dave Matthews Band and Martin Sexton and recently signed a major label deal with Island/Lost Highway Records

Momentary Setback, Marc's independent release has garnered plaudits of acclaim for the Louisiana born singer/songwriter. Marc also recently recorded his version of "Back In Your Arms" for the Bruce Springsteen charity tribute album entitled "Light of Day: A Tribute To Bruce Springsteen" alongside Pete Yorn and Elvis Costello, among others. Marc also has the second track on the Lost Highway compilation, "Lost & Found" in stores now featuring 15 rarities, b-sides, unreleased and studio cuts from Lost Highway artists and its family of labels. Other artists featured on this compilation include Lucinda Williams, Ryan Adams, Willie Nelson, Bright Eyes, and Johnny Cash just to name a few.
