Due to popular demand, international superstars Bon Jovi have added more dates to their current sold-out tour in support of their acclaimed CD Bounce (Island Records). This summer, the band returns from their European stadium tour to play arenas, ampitheatres and stadiums (in Philadelphia, Detroit and Boston), returning to many markets where they have already played to capacity-filled crowds. The additional tour dates begin in July and conclude with a hometown, multi-night stand at Giants Stadium in New Jersey on August 7th and 8th. (See below for a full listing of additional tour dates). .
Bon Jovi has garnered tremendous reaction on the road and the additional tour dates reflect a clamor from fans to the new Bounce material, including the hit single "Misunderstood." Bounce marked the band's highest chart debut ever (#2 on the Billboard album chart) and the current tour emphasizes current material from Bounce as well as material that spans Bon Jovi's entire career with hits like "It's My Life," "Living on A Prayer," "I'll Be There for You," "Bad Medicine," "Always," "Bed of Roses," "Born to Be My Baby" and many, many others.
Bon Jovi has garnered tremendous reviews for the Bounce tour. The New York Post proclaims Bon Jovi "one of the tightest groups in rock," while the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel declares "Bon Jovi's sold out show .. still had more bounce per ounce than most of his touring peers, " and the Boston Globe describes the show as "hard driving music by a hard working band. " The show mirrors the review for Bounce itself, including The New York Times which stated, "...Bon Jovi has become a rock and roll institution" while The Associated Press praised, "The boys from Jersey are back with 'Bounce' one of the best hard-rock records of the year."
Bounce is the follow up to the incredibly successful album, Crush which sold eight million copies worldwide (certified double platinum in the U.S.), spawned the hit singles, "It's My Life" and "Thank You For Loving Me" and earned the group their first ever Grammy nominations for "Best Rock Album" and "Best Rock Performance by Duo or Group" for "It's My Life." Bon Jovi has sold more than 98 million albums worldwide and performed more than 2,000 concerts in 47 countries for more than 31 million fans.
