SuperJoint Ritual: Phil Anselmo Bringing You More! Who the F**K pissed this guy off. You can feel the anger and rage as Phil Anselmo tells everyone to just drop dead. From the looks of the CD and ads that have been supporting this CD by Sanctuary Records it would be a set of pipes and j's all over to mellow out on and rock hard, but what we get is a great heavy metal album that is heavy and very angry to the core.

Undertaking a tour promoting the metal sounds of Superjoint Ritual with supporting members Jimmy Bower of Corrosion of Conformity, Hank Williams III, and Joe Fazzio together making an aggressive attempt at metal domination for the summer of 2002.

The recently released "Use Once & Destroy" can be considered this years finest hard thrash metal album by many who have been reviewing the disk. Bringing to fans the long tern project finally onto CD after many years of anticipated wait by so many fans.

Phil Anselmo's Superjoint Ritual project has been in the works for years. Putting songs together during spare time at his residents outside of New Orleans. The unveiling of the CD as well as support through the month of June of 2002. Phil's screaming voice is so powerful on this CD you can feel the anger in his voice, backing it all up with furious pounding of drums and hard fast aggressive guitar. Much of the release was produced and performed by Phil at his studio bringing on Hank Williams III as the last member for the live tour. Phil will be only doing vocals live so he can give it his most live!

Released in May of 2002 as the hardest metal album in years. Using complex sounds of the likes of past hard metal thrashers for 2002. The sound of Superjoint Ritual is hard crunching that every head banger will thrash their head to during the fury of this 16 cut release.
