Raymond Boyd is a Chicago born and raised photographer. Raymond states, "photography is a God-given talent." He is self-taught for most part and is always refining his skills, if its through new photo projects or tips from colleagues.
Raymond Boyd has been taking photographs since his high school days when his mother bought him his first Kodak pocket camera for graduation. As Raymond says, "as they say, the rest is history!" Mr. Boyd has photographer primarily in the entertainment industry for more than 20 years. Mr. Boyd remembers his first published photo which was of the late Roger Troutman of Zapp, which appeared in the then-published Rock & Soul Magazine back in 1983. Since then, his work has appeared in such publications as Fresh!, Yo!, Black Beat, M!, Right On!, Word Up!, Sister 2 Sister, Ebony/Jet, Popstar!, Black Noir, Billboard, Upscale and numerous others from print to television.
