Editorial Review
Bedknobs and Broomsticks is a very entertaining movie which brings life, animation and magical fantasy together. If you enjoyed Chitty Chitty Bang Bang or Mary Poppins, then definitely you will enjoy this movie. But I bet you already seen it many years ago. Based during World War II, three young refugees discover England on their own in helping aid the allied forces against the axis nations. This is a movie to watch with the family, make it a Friday movie night and pop in Bedknobs and Broomsticks into the DVD player. In addition, to all the magic and singing, you might even get a WW II history lesson in. Many of us grew up on this movie and so many of the Disney Classics. I remember going with my parents to the movies or racing home on Sunday for Disney movie night. It helps us relive some of the simpler times of fantasy and youth. Bedknobs and Broomsticks is just as enjoyable now as it was as it was to when I was a child. This movie brings children, magic, history and fantasy into one nice enjoyable package. The music is wonderful and I am sure the kids will sing the songs as you did once upon a time. The movie is sharp with great sound. This is a winner for the family.
