Tinker Bell (BD Live)

The new Disney movie Tinker Bell brings everyone's favorite fairie back to the screen. In her first staring role, we learn about her beginning and are taken on an adventure that introduces us to new characters and explores the magical destination of Pixie Hollow.

Tinker Bell discovers that her talent is “tinkering” and she is not fond of her newly found talent as she learns that tinkers do not go to the mainland to bring Spring to the World. She enlists her new friends Rosetta, Iridessa, Silvermist, and Fawn to teach their varying talents to her so that she may feel special and go to the mainland. While this doesn't go according to plan and she nearly ruins Spring by destroying the hard work the other fairies have done, Tinker Bell learns along the way that she is special for being who she is and has a lot to offer the other fairies. Tink proves this as she saves Spring just in time and learns that it is important to be true to yourself. This is certain to be a franchise with more titles to come. While this is not a theatrical release and comes straight to the home entertainment market, it is a heart-warming tale that is perfect for the whole family to watch with a special moral to the story that delivers home in a subtle way.

This Blu-ray DVD has plenty of extras and the visual experience is stunning with unbelievable colors and an uncompressed Dolby audio track that accompanies the film perfectly.

Tinker Bell is a fun movie that is sure to be enjoyed by kids of all ages. Disney doesn't disappoint with the quality of this movie from story and picture quality to the soundtrack and dynamics that fill the room with the audio track. Animated features truly show off how good Blu-ray can look and Tinker Bell truly makes this format a wonderful experience.
