We had a chance to catch up with model Katie and she shared some thoughts with us about life, modeling and rock and roll.
 UnRated: When did you start modeling?
Katie: 6 years ago.
UR: What have been some of your favorite modeling gigs?
Katie: Well, there are a lot; I don’t have just one favorite.
I’ve been body painted about 9 times for different modeling projects. I’ve also been on 7 magazine covers, done lots of posters and calendars, and been a spokesmodel for some really cool products.
UR: From all the shoots you have done, any memorable experiences or not so memorable?
Katie:
I appeared on a 14 x 48 foot billboard in Chicago. That was pretty cool.
UR: Do you have eyes for any musician?
Katie:
I like John Mellencamp, he has great music and I’ve had a little crush on him since I was a kid!
UR: Are you a rocker, played any instrument?
Katie:
If I had a band I would definitely have a Rock band. Yes I’m learning to play guitar.
UR: Rockers still this day have groupies, how about you?
Katie:
Yes I have many groupies.(laughing)
UR: If I plugged into your iPod, or turned your stereo on, what music would I hear? Would it be the same artist(s) mentioned?
Katie: I have such a variety, everything from Rock, Pop/Dance, Rap, and 80’s. What I’m listening to depends on my mood, usually it’s something upbeat! I like Audioslave, Nickelback, Linkin Park, Matchbox Twenty, and John Mellencamp to name a few. But I have so many more favorites too!
UR: Sexy clothes is what makes guys always give a double take, what is hot today. Is Victoria Secret where it's at or other?
Katie:
My favorite outfit are jeans, a tank top and heels. I think it’s sexy because I feel totally comfortable in it.
UR: What is your outlook on life, your future? Do you ever think about it or go for the moment?
Katie:
I’m usually a planner, but things can always change unexpectedly. So then you just have to go with it. Things happen for a reason.
 UR: How do you find time to balance a modeling life and normal life?
Katie: Sometimes it’s tough. I have to get up very early everyday (sometimes even on the weekends) to balance a regular career and a modeling career. I’ve been at photoshoots at 4:30 am, but I enjoy it so it’s worth it to me!
UR: What is your favorite video? What do you like best about it?
Katie:
When I was a kid I loved the video "Magic" by the Cars. The lead singer (Ric Ocasek) was walking on water in a swimming pool at some huge party where everyone was having fun. All the women were trying to grab him as he walked by, but he was just too cool for everyone! I wanted to go to that party. That song is currently in my iPod!
UR: Is there a song that will turn you on. tell us why and how?
Katie:
There are too many, changes by the week!
UR: Any tunes that must be on when you are making love?
Katie:
I never really checked!
UR: What is a sexy car to drive?
Katie:
Porche.
UR: What's a party night, midnight, 2 am, 4 am, or dawn!
Katie: Usually midnight for me, once in a while a late nite when I’m partying in Southbeach.
UR: Ever had thought or dreams of getting down and dirty with a rock star, who and why?
Katie:
Well no one currently comes to mind, but rockers turn me on because I love music and people with great talent!
UR: Ever date a musician, if so, is it all rock and roll?
Katie: No, but I always wanted to date a musician.
 UR: Whats more fun being a saint or having a little devil in you?
Katie:
I try to be good, in the long run good people always come out ahead!
UR: How do you feel about meeting people who love your work as a model?
Katie:
Anyone that enjoys and respects my work I’m happy to talk to!
UR: What are you most proud of?
Katie:
My family and pets!
UR: Have you been in the mosh pit? What was it like?
Katie:
No they scare me!
UR: What do you think guys get that is just wrong?
Katie:
Guys are guys. Nothing surprises me.
UR: What totally turns you on? off?
Katie: I like someone who takes good care of himself, can make me laugh and give me a good massage. I’m don’t care for people who are ignorant, inconsiderate, and selfish.
